100% of these grapes came from a single-vineyard nestled at the edge of the Sierra Foothills just below the winding MokelumneRiver in the Clements Hills appellation of Lodi, California.   The gnarled vines thrive in a unique, Mediterranean micro-climate where they are bathed in golden sunlight and cooled by Pacific breezes.  A swirl of the glass will show off this wine’s brilliant, ruby-purple hues and excellent structure while releasing aromas of cherry, mint, dark chocolate, fig and eucalyptus.  Moderate tannins are bursting with flavors of ripe blackberry, rhubarb, anise, and a hint of tobacco.
